GUIDELINES FOR SAFETY

Rules for entering the pool and keeping you safe. 

CHECKING IN

Members must sign in with their stock number at the lifeguard table. 

Guards can assist you with checking in guests or purchasing additional guest passes.

RULES FOR CHILDREN

If your child is a non-swimmer, you must be within arms’ reach of them.

A child that is at least 12 years old, and has passed a guard administered swim test, may come to the pool unaccompanied by an adult.

A child that is at least 14 years old , and has passed a guard administered swim test, may bring younger children with them to the pool, unaccompanied by an adult.

Remember, that while Ferry Farm Swimming Pool employs lifeguards, the ultimate responsibility for your child’s safety rests with you. 

CHILDCARE PASSES

Childcare passes for a person who cares for your child(ren), or for a child that you babysit for, are available at a cost of $45. Please contact membership team to add someone to your membership. [email protected]

GUEST PASSES

We love guests! Members are encouraged to bring guests. Guest Passes are available for purchase onsite with CASH ONLY (at this time).  Unused guest passes that are purchased will be electronically recorded with a Members account so that they can be used at a future date when a member checks in. When a guest accompanies you to the pool, please notify the guard who can deduct the guest pass during the checkin process. 

Guest passes (CASH ONLY):

  • $5 Each
  • $20: 5 Pack – Good for 5 individuals to visit the pool.

Additional guest pass guidelines:

  • Guest pass may only enter when accompanied by a member.  
  • The member must remain at the pool for the entire time their guests are on the pool deck.
  • If the guest is under 18, they must sign the check-in log -and include their name, parent’s number, signature on Rules of the Pool 
  • Age 14 – 18 years old may bring two guest or a sibling without an adult with parent’s permission
  • Age 18 – 21 may bring up to 3 guests.
  • Under 12 years old MUST be accompanied by an adult or a sibling 14 years old or older.
  • Age 12 and 13 years old may attend the pool unaccompanied by an adult if they have passed a swim test administered by a certified lifeguard employed by pool management

GENERAL POOL RULES

  • No running on pool deck 
  • No horseplay, shoving or pushing in or around pool 
  • No smoking / No glass containers 
  • No hanging around lifeguard stands 
  • If your child is a non-swimmer, you must be within arm’s reach of them.
  • Diving board rules – do not jump off diving board if anyone is in the diving area deemed appropriate by guards
  • Anyone 12 and under must pass the swim test to swim in the deep end unaccompanied by an adult
  • No Dunking
  • Keep the pool family friendly!
  • No foul language
  • No skateboarding or bikes on deck
  • Listen and obey lifeguard instruction
  • Any violation of the rules or disrespectful behavior may result in a suspension of membership or guest removal from Pool Deck
